Managing Director for Australia

Jono is Kraken's Managing Director for Australia and a leading voice in the growing crypto industry. Jono co-founded Bit Trade in 2013, one of Australia's longest-running crypto exchanges, and has been deeply involved in Australia’s crypto industry since its inception. Kraken acquired BitTrade in 2020 and Jono continues to hone his entrepreneurial spirit to spearhead Kraken’s growth to this day. If you can’t find Jono leading product development, talking to users or in the media, he’s probably off swimming somewhere.

Muneeb Khan

Head of APAC Spot Trading

Muneeb leads Kraken’s APAC OTC team and has been with the company since its Bit Trade days. He has navigated the ups and downs of numerous market cycles and has seen the Aussie arbitrage trade compress from a margin of 15% to near zero over the last six years. During this time, Muneeb and the Kraken’s entire OTC desk have been a reliable liquidity partner to a large base of Aussie clients.
