Krak UK University Email Incentive – Sign Up & Get £40

BY PARTICIPATING IN THE PROMOTION, YOU AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS (“TERMS”) AND THE KRAKEN.COM TERMS OF SERVICE, WHICH EACH FORM A CONTRACT. PLEASE READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE PARTICIPATING.

1. Sponsor

This promotion (“Promotion”) is sponsored by Payward, Inc., known as Kraken (“Sponsor,” or “Kraken”).

2. Eligible Areas

The Promotion is open to eligible participants residing in the United Kingdom.

Participation is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Participants must reside in a jurisdiction where Kraken services and such promotional incentives are permitted.

3. Promotion Period

The Promotion begins on 20 Apr 2026 and ends on 5 May 2026 (the “Promotion Period”).

Kraken reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion at any time in its sole discretion.

4. How to Participate

To qualify for the Promotion, participants must complete the following steps during the Promotion Period:

  1. Create a Krak account using the promotional link contained in the marketing email or by scanning the QR code provided in the email.
  2. Successfully complete identity verification.
  3. Complete a deposit of at least £10 GBP equivalent into the participant’s Krak account balance.

Participation in this Promotion does not require any trading activity. The Promotion relates solely to the creation and funding of a Krak account.

Only new Krak users are eligible to participate.

Limit: One (1) participation per person and per account.

5. Reward

Eligible participants will receive:

£40 credited to their Krak account balance.

Key conditions:

  • Rewards will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while rewards remain available.
  • A maximum of 4,000 rewards will be issued during the Promotion.
  • Once all rewards have been issued, the Promotion will end even if the Promotion Period has not expired.

Rewards will be credited within fourteen (14) days after Kraken confirms that all eligibility requirements have been satisfied.

The reward:

  • will be credited to the participant’s Krak account balance;
  • is not conditional on executing any trades;
  • is non-transferable;
  • cannot be exchanged for cash; and
  • may be substituted by Kraken with a reward of equal or greater value if necessary.

6. Eligibility

You are eligible to participate in the Promotion if you:

  • reside in the United Kingdom;
  • are 18 years of age or older;
  • create a new Krak account during the Promotion Period;
  • complete identity verification, if required;
  • agree to the Kraken.com Terms of Service; and
  • comply with these Terms and applicable laws.

You are not eligible if you are ineligible under Kraken’s Terms of Service or applicable law.

7. Disqualification

Kraken reserves the right to disqualify any participant if Kraken determines, in its sole discretion, that the participant has:

  • violated these Terms;
  • violated the Kraken Terms of Service;
  • created multiple accounts to circumvent the participation limits;
  • engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or manipulative activity; or
  • otherwise attempted to undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion.

Kraken reserves the right to withhold, reverse, or claw back any reward if it determines that a participant has engaged in abusive or fraudulent behavior, including creating multiple accounts or coordinating activity to exploit the Promotion.

8. Notification and Reward Issuance

Rewards will be credited directly to eligible participants’ Krak account balances within fourteen (14) days after Kraken confirms compliance with these Terms.

Kraken may request additional information or documentation before issuing a reward.

Participants’ accounts must remain active, verified, and in good standing at the time rewards are distributed.

9. Consents and Approvals

By participating in the Promotion, you agree that any information submitted by you or collected by Kraken in connection with the Promotion may be used by Kraken and its affiliated entities.

You consent to receive communications from Kraken, including marketing communications.

You acknowledge that identifying information, including your name and address, may be disclosed to third parties for purposes of administering the Promotion and complying with applicable laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.

Personal information collected in connection with the Promotion will be processed in accordance with Kraken’s Privacy Policy available at:

10. Disclaimers

Kraken is not responsible for any changes or unavailability of internet connectivity or any technical failures that may interfere with your ability to participate in the Promotion.

Without limiting any other provision of these Terms, Kraken and its affiliates are not responsible for any losses resulting from acts of God, equipment failure, natural disasters, labor disputes, government actions, or other events beyond their reasonable control.

11. Limitation of Liability, Disputes, and Governing Law

By participating in the Promotion, you agree to release and hold harmless Kraken and its affiliates from any claims arising from your participation in the Promotion or acceptance or use of any reward.

To the extent permitted by applicable law:

  1. Any and all disputes arising out of or relating to the Promotion will be resolved individually and not as part of any class action.
  2. Claims and awards will be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs not exceeding twenty-five U.S. dollars (US$25) and attorneys’ fees will not be recoverable.
  3. Participants waive any right to seek punitive, incidental, consequential, or special damages.
  4. Remedies are limited to monetary damages only.

Any dispute arising under or related to these Terms will be governed by the laws of England and Wales, without reference to its conflicts of law principles.

Any such dispute shall be resolved by confidential binding arbitration in London, England under the LCIA Rules, and judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. Kraken may seek equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

12. Taxes

Participants are solely responsible for any taxes or duties arising from receipt of the reward.

Kraken does not provide tax advice.

13. Non-Investment Promotion Statement

This Promotion is intended solely to incentivize account registration and funding of a Krak account.

The Promotion does not constitute investment advice, a recommendation to trade, or an inducement to engage in cryptoasset trading.

14. General Terms

Kraken reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.

Kraken may cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion if technical failures, fraud, or other factors impair the integrity or proper operation of the Promotion.

Kraken’s decisions regarding the Promotion are final and binding.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
