Ukraine Independent

Effective Date: August 13, 2026

By participating in The Ukraine Independent (the “Promotion”), you agree to these Official Rules (“Terms”). A financial action (opening and trading Kraken Futures perpetual contracts) is required to generate a qualifying result. Trading involves risk and can result in the loss of your invested capital.

Section 1 — Sponsor

The Promotion is sponsored by Tulip HoldCo Ltd., 2nd Floor, Water’s Edge Building, Wickhams Cay II, Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands (“Sponsor,” “Kraken,” “we,” or “us”).

Section 2 — Eligible Areas

The Promotion is open to eligible customers residing in Ukraine.

This Promotion is void in Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions.

Void where prohibited.

Section 3 — Promotion Period

The Promotion begins August 13, 2026, 00:00 UTC and ends September 13, 2026, 23:59 UTC (the “Promotion Period”).

Section 4 — How to Participate

  1. Hold a verified Kraken account in good standing, eligible to trade Kraken Futures.
  2. Trade any Kraken Futures perpetual contract other than Bitcoin (BTC) perpetuals during the Promotion Period.
  3. Achieve a minimum of $1 in realized profit-and-loss (P&L) during the Promotion Period to qualify for ranking.

Participants must opt in via the tournament registration page before their trading activity counts toward the leaderboard. Participants are automatically ranked on a single national (Ukraine) leaderboard based on realized P&L across all eligible (non-BTC) Kraken Futures perpetual contracts, net of deposits and withdrawals, for the duration of the Promotion Period.

This leaderboard runs independently of, and is not combined with, any concurrent global Kraken Futures competitions (including any global Bitcoin or Gold competitions Kraken may run during the same period).

Section 5 — Winner Selection

Winners are determined solely by rank on the leaderboard described in Section 4, based on each participant’s net realized P&L at the end of the Promotion Period. No element of chance is involved. In the event of a tie, the participant whose first qualifying trade was executed earliest will rank higher.

Section 6 — Prize / Reward

Total prize pool: $11,200, distributed in USDG, as follows:

  • Rank 1: $2,000
  • Rank 2: $1,500
  • Rank 3: $1,000
  • Ranks 4–8: $400 each
  • Ranks 9–43: $100 each
  • Rank 44 and above: a fixed pool of $1,200, shared equally among all qualifying participants ranked 44th or lower.

Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or other consideration, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

Section 7 — Kraken Account and KYC Requirement

Winners must hold a Kraken account with intermediate KYC completed prior to prize distribution. Failure to meet this requirement within a reasonable time of notification will result in forfeiture of the prize.

Section 8 — Eligibility

Participation is subject to these Terms and Kraken’s Terms of Service. Participants must not be residents of any jurisdiction where participation would be prohibited by applicable law. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Kraken and its affiliates are not eligible to participate.

Section 9 — Disqualification

Kraken reserves the right to disqualify any participant who: submits false or misleading information; uses multiple accounts, bots, or automated trading systems to artificially inflate ranking; engages in wash trading or other manipulative trading activity; or otherwise attempts to circumvent these Terms.

Section 10 — Winner Notification and Prize Fulfillment

Winners will be notified via their Kraken account email within a reasonable time following the end of the Promotion Period. Prizes will be distributed within a reasonable time following verification of eligibility and KYC completion. If a winner cannot be reached or fails to complete required verification within a reasonable time, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate qualifying participant at Sponsor’s discretion.

Section 11 — Consents and Approvals / Data and Privacy

By participating, you consent to Kraken’s collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in Kraken’s Privacy Policy, including for the purposes of administering this Promotion.

Section 12 — Disclaimers

Kraken is not responsible for technical failures, platform outages, network errors, or other issues beyond its reasonable control that may affect a participant’s ability to participate or be ranked. Kraken’s performance under these Terms is subject to force majeure.

Section 13 — Limitation of Liability, Disputes, and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from this Promotion are subject to the dispute resolution provisions of Kraken’s Global Terms of Service: https://www.kraken.com/legal/global-terms. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kraken’s liability arising from this Promotion is limited to the value of the applicable prize.

Section 14 — Taxes

Participants are solely responsible for any taxes arising from their receipt of a prize. Kraken does not provide tax advice.

Section 15 — General Terms

Kraken reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this Promotion at any time in its sole discretion, including for reasons of technical failure, fraud, or force majeure. Kraken’s decisions regarding all matters related to this Promotion are final. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

These Terms are published in English and Ukrainian. In the event of any inconsistency between the English and Ukrainian versions, the English version shall prevail.
