Customer disclosure on privacy coin transaction restrictions and risks
Last Updated: 27 October 2026
Trading, holding, or transferring privacy coins carries additional risks, including:
- Regulatory action. Laws and regulator expectations for privacy coins are evolving and may restrict or prohibit their use, with little or no notice.
- Restrictions and delisting. We may limit or suspend deposits, withdrawals, or trading, or delist a privacy coin, without advance notice where required by law. This could reduce liquidity and make it harder or impossible to sell or move your assets.
- Withdrawal deadlines. If we stop supporting a privacy coin, you may need to withdraw it within a set period.
- Delays and account actions. Transactions may be delayed, rejected, or held for review. Some deposit types may not be available.
- No recovery. Transactions are irreversible and hard to trace. Funds sent to the wrong address, or lost or stolen, may not be recoverable.
- Volatility and technical risk. Privacy features depend on complex technology that may contain flaws or change through network upgrades.
You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you. This notice is not legal, tax, or investment advice. Only trade with funds you can afford to lose.
