The Kraken Referral Program allows you and a friend to earn a random cash reward when your friend signs up using your invite link and meets the eligibility requirements. A Referral Bonus is a reward granted to both the referring user and the referred user upon successful completion of the referral program requirements (“Referral Bonus”). The bonus amount and form (digital assets or legal tender) are determined by Kraken and specified in the applicable Referral Bonus offer. Referral Bonuses are subject to program limits, eligibility rules, and Kraken’s discretion, and are not guaranteed.
- Find your Referral Bonus invite link – you can find links in the upper right of the mobile home screen, from the account settings menu, or in the web at https://www.kraken.com/c/referrals
- Share your invite link or code- Send it to your friends via text, email, or messaging apps.
- Your friend must be new to Kraken, and must:
- Use your invite link or code to create a new Kraken account on the mobile app.
- Deposit fiat in their Kraken account.
- Complete the terms of the Referral Bonus offer within 15 days of signing up.
- Please note that stablecoin trades do not qualify as completion criteria.
- The Kraken Referral Program is available in most countries globally, although some offers might only be available in the Kraken Pro interfacae.
- The friend you refer must reside in the same country as you reside, or, if you reside in an eligible European Economic Area (EEA) country, they may reside in any other eligible EEA country.
- The friend you refer must be a new Kraken user (i.e., they must not have previously created a Kraken account before the account created with your invite link).
- You can refer an unlimited number of friends, but you may only receive Referral Bonuses for ten, fifteen, or twenty referrals depending on the offer available to you. You can see the details of your offer on the referrals page in the mobile app and web
- After your friend signs up and completes the required steps, you and your friend will each receive a random reward between $5 and $50, this amount will be different for each referral. The more you refer, the more chances you have at a higher reward
- 95% of rewards are between $5 and $20.
- Please allow at least 14 days for the Referral Bonus to be deposited into your Kraken account.
- You can track the status of your progress in the Referrals dashboard.
- In order to qualify for a Referral Bonus the friend you refer must deposit fiat (cash) from a bank account, and meet all additional requirements such as minimum trade volume.
- No paid advertising – You cannot promote your invite link using paid search marketing, social media ads, or sponsored posts. Doing so will result in your invite link being deactivated and you will not receive any Referral Bonuses for referrals made using that link. You may, however, share your invite link through text messaging, email and messaging apps.
- There is a maximum of 1 reward per device per household on, first come first serve basis.
- Fiat to stablecoin trades do not qualify for the reward, you must purchase non stablecoin cryptos.
- Referral Bonuses are not guaranteed – While Kraken makes a good faith effort to pay Referral Bonuses, we do not guarantee payouts on every referral.
- Kraken reserves the right to limit, modify, or terminate the referral program at any time, for any reason, and without notice.
