WTIOIL Perpetual Futures Trading Challenge 2026

BY PARTICIPATING IN THE PROMOTION, YOU AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND THE KRAKEN.COM TERMS OF SERVICE, WHICH EACH FORM A CONTRACT. READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING.

1. Sponsor

This Promotion is sponsored by Tulip HoldCo Ltd., located at 2nd Floor, Water's Edge Building, Wickhams Cay II, Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands ("Sponsor" or "Kraken"). Kraken Futures services are provided by Payward Digital Solutions Ltd. ("PDSL"), licensed to conduct digital asset business by the Bermuda Monetary Authority.

2. Promotion Description

The WTIOIL Oil Perp Trading Competition (“Promotion”) is a skill-based trading contest in which eligible participants compete based on absolute realized profits generated from trading the OIL-PERP perpetual futures contract during the Promotion Period.

This Promotion is not a sweepstakes or game of chance. Winners are determined based on trading performance and skill.

3. Eligible Areas

The Promotion is open to eligible Kraken Pro users in jurisdictions where Kraken Futures services are available, excluding the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, the United States, Canada, and Australia.

Void where prohibited.

4. Promotion Period

The Promotion begins at 00:00 UTC on June 3, 2026 and ends at 23:59 UTC on June 17, 2026 (“Promotion Period”).

Kraken reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion at any time in its sole discretion.

5. Eligibility to Participate

You are eligible to participate in the Promotion if, at the time of entry and throughout the Promotion Period, you:

  • Reside in one of the Eligible Areas listed above;
  • Hold a valid Kraken Pro account approved for futures trading;
  • Successfully complete all required KYC and AML verification requirements applicable to futures trading in your jurisdiction;
  • Agree to the Kraken.com Terms of Service and these Official Rules;
  • Are not otherwise prohibited from participating under applicable law or Kraken policy.

Institutional accounts, omnibus accounts, sub-accounts, market makers, and accounts opened or operated for commercial purposes may be excluded at Kraken’s sole discretion.

6. How to Participate

No purchase or payment is required to enter the Promotion.

To participate, eligible users must:

  1. Hold an eligible Kraken Pro futures-enabled account;
  2. Trade the OIL-PERP perpetual futures contract during the Promotion Period; and
  3. Generate realized trading profits during the Promotion Period.

Participants will be ranked based on absolute realized profits generated from eligible OIL-PERP trading activity during the Promotion Period.

Only realized profits from eligible OIL-PERP trades executed during the Promotion Period will count toward the leaderboard.

7. Winner Determination

At the conclusion of the Promotion Period, Kraken will rank eligible participants based on absolute realized profits from eligible OIL-PERP trading activity during the Promotion Period.

Up to 120 eligible participants on the final leaderboard will be selected as winners.

In the event of a tie, Kraken reserves the right to determine the winner based on additional criteria including, but not limited to:

  • Earliest achievement of the relevant realized profit amount;
  • Net trading volume; or
  • Other objective trading metrics determined by Kraken in its sole discretion.

All decisions made by Kraken regarding rankings, calculations, eligibility, and winner determination are final and binding.

8. Prize

A total prize pool of USDG equivalent to USD $10,000 will be distributed among 120 winners.

Prize allocation among winners will be determined by Kraken and communicated through official Promotion materials or leaderboard announcements.

Prizes will be credited in USDG directly to eligible winners’ Kraken accounts within thirty (30) days following verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules.

Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and may not be redeemed for cash. Kraken reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of equal or greater value in its sole discretion.

9. Restrictions and Prohibited Conduct

Kraken reserves the right to disqualify any participant or withhold prizes if Kraken determines, in its sole discretion, that the participant has:

  • Violated these Official Rules or the Kraken.com Terms of Service;
  • Engaged in wash trading, self-dealing, market manipulation, abusive trading behavior, or other non-bona fide trading activity;
  • Used multiple accounts or coordinated activity to manipulate rankings;
  • Attempted to circumvent geographic or account restrictions;
  • Used VPNs, bots, automation, or other prohibited methods; or
  • Violated applicable laws or regulations.

Only trading activity determined by Kraken to be legitimate and compliant will qualify.

10. Account Status

Participants’ Kraken accounts must remain active, verified, futures-enabled, and in good standing through the time prizes are distributed.

Kraken may withhold, revoke, or claw back any prize if eligibility requirements are not met or if prohibited conduct is detected.

11. Notification of Winners

Winners may be notified via email, in-platform notification, leaderboard publication, or other communication methods determined by Kraken.

Failure to respond to any verification requests within the time specified by Kraken may result in forfeiture of the prize.

12. Consents and Privacy

By participating in the Promotion, you consent to Kraken’s collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information for purposes of administering the Promotion, verifying eligibility, complying with legal obligations, and distributing prizes.

You further consent to receiving communications from Kraken strictly necessary for administration of the Promotion and your Kraken account. Consent to receive marketing communications from Kraken is separate from participation in this Promotion and will be sought through a separate mechanism.

Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Promotion constitutes permission for Kraken to use a winner’s username, general location, leaderboard position, and trading performance for promotional and marketing purposes without additional compensation.

13. Disclaimers

Kraken is not responsible for technical failures, system interruptions, connectivity issues, trading engine disruptions, or any other events that may affect participation or leaderboard calculations.

Without limiting any other provision of these Official Rules, Kraken and its affiliates are not responsible for any damage or loss arising from acts of God, market disruptions, cyberattacks, labor disputes, governmental actions, epidemics, natural disasters, war, terrorism, or any other event beyond Kraken’s reasonable control.

Trading futures products involves significant risk and may not be suitable for all participants. Participants are solely responsible for their trading decisions and any resulting gains or losses.

14. Limitation of Liability, Disputes, and Governing Law

By participating in the Promotion, you agree to and hereby release and hold harmless Tulip HoldCo Ltd. and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, "Kraken").

BY PARTICIPATING IN THE PROMOTION, YOU AGREE THAT TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

  1. ANY AND ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS, AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THE PROMOTION SHALL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION;
  2. ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS, AND AWARDS SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED, NOT TO EXCEED TWENTY-FIVE U.S. DOLLARS (US$25.00);
  3. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL PARTICIPANTS BE ENTITLED TO PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, OR ANY OTHER INDIRECT DAMAGES; AND
  4. ALL RIGHTS TO HAVE DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR OTHERWISE INCREASED ARE EXPRESSLY WAIVED.

Dispute resolution and governing law are governed by the Kraken Terms of Service applicable to you, available at https://www.kraken.com/legal/global-terms, including all dispute resolution and governing law provisions contained therein.

15. Taxes

Participants are solely responsible for any taxes, reporting obligations, duties, or other governmental fees arising from receipt of any prize.

Kraken does not provide tax advice.

16. General Rules

Kraken reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion or these Official Rules at any time in its sole discretion.

Kraken’s decisions regarding eligibility, rankings, prize distribution, and interpretation of these Official Rules are final and binding.

If any provision of these Official Rules is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

In the event of any inconsistency between marketing materials and these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall control.
