Privacy

By attending the meetup in Poland, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

The event will be recorded and photographed. This includes video, audio, and still images which may capture you individually or in group settings.
In consideration for your attendance, you acknowledge and agree that footage from the event — including your image, likeness, voice, and any contributions — may be used in promotional materials, including on social media, websites, and other marketing or internal channels.
You grant a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, edit, publish, translate, or otherwise use any such recordings of you.
These recordings may be edited and used without your approval, and there is no guarantee they will be used at all.
You will not receive payment or further compensation for any use of the materials.
This processing of your personal data is based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR — it is necessary for the performance of the terms under which you attend the event.

Promotion Period
18:00 local time on August 20, 2025 to 21:15 local time on August 20, 2025.

How to Participate
To participate in the Promotion, you must complete the following steps during the Promotion Period:
A. Publish a post on X (formerly Twitter) during the meetup that:
i. Tags @krakenfx_pl
ii. Includes a photo or content related to the meetup

B. Follow @krakenfx_pl

Limit one (1) entry per participant. Entries must be posted before 21:15 local time on August 20, 2025.

Determination of Winners
Winners will be selected by Kraken’s judging panel based on creativity, originality, and relevance to the meetup. Five (5) winners will be selected. Judging and winner determination will occur at approximately 21:15 on the day of the Promotion. The decision of the judging panel is final and binding.

Prizes
Each winner will receive:

$15 USD worth of Bitcoin (BTC)
Kraken-branded tote bag
Kraken-branded notebook

Prizes will be credited to the winners’ Kraken accounts and physical items delivered within 30 days of verification and compliance with these Official Rules.

1. Eligibility to Participate in the Promotion
You are eligible to participate in the Promotion if, at the time of entry and during the Promotion:

You reside in Poland.
You have a Kraken Consumer or Pro account verified to at least the Intermediate level.
You are not a Kraken Related Party (as defined below).
You are not otherwise ineligible to participate under the Kraken.com Terms of Service, these Rules, or applicable law.

You are not eligible to participate in the Promotion if you are (A) a Kraken employee, officer, director, manager, agent, consultant, or representative; (B) a family member or live with any of the foregoing; (C) a Kraken corporate partner, division, subsidiary, affiliate, successor in interest; (D) an advertising, promotion, or public relations agency of any of the foregoing (each a “Kraken Related Party”).

By submitting your entry to the Promotion, you represent and warrant that you meet, and will continue to meet throughout the Promotion Period, each of the above criteria and are eligible to participate.

2. Notification of Winner

The winner will be notiﬁed at the event on August 20, 2025. The winner will be required to provide sufficient information to deliver any prize awarded. The recipient of any prize acknowledges and agrees that they may be required to submit additional documentation to be eligible to receive a prize. Upon confirmation of the winner’s compliance with these Rules, the prize will be made available to the winner. In the event that a winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within 48 hours of any communication, refuses the prize, or fails to provide any information or documentation requested by Kraken, the winner may be disqualified by Kraken without further notice and an alternate winner selected.

3. Consents and Approvals

By entering the Promotion, you agree that any content and any other information submitted by you or collected by Kraken in connection with the Promotion may be used by Kraken, including their afﬁliated business entities. Further, you consent to and opt-in to any communications, including marketing communications, from Kraken. You give consent for Kraken and its agents to obtain and deliver your name, address and other information to third parties for the purpose of administering this Promotion and complying with applicable laws, regulations, and rules. YOU FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGE THAT IF YOU ARE A WINNER, YOUR IDENTIFYING INFORMATION, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS, MAY BE DISCLOSED TO THIRD PARTIES TO FACILITATE THE PROMOTION AND COMPLY WITH APPLICABLE LAW, TAX, AND REPORTING REQUIREMENTS. Except as otherwise contemplated in these Rules, Kraken will use personal information collected in connection with the Promotion in accordance with its online privacy policy located at https://kraken.com/legal/privacy.

4. Disclaimers

Kraken is not responsible for any changes or unavailability of your internet or any other interference with your ability to access or otherwise participate in the Promotion, including your ability to timely enter, receive notices, or communicate with Kraken. Without limiting any other provision in these Rules, Kraken and Kraken Related Parties are not responsible or liable for any damage or loss by reason of any acts of God, equipment failure, terrorist acts, earthquake, war, ﬁre, flood, epidemic, explosion, unusually severe weather, embargo, labor dispute, transportation interruption of any kind, civil disturbance, or any governmental, federal, state or local government authority action, or any other cause, whether or not speciﬁcally mentioned above.

5. Limitation of Liability, Disputes, and Governing Law

By participating in the Promotion, you agree to and hereby do release and hold harmless Kraken and the Promotion Related Parties from any damage, injury, death, loss, claim, action, demand, or other liability (collectively, “Claims”) that may arise from your acceptance, possession and/or use of any prize or your participation in this Promotion, regardless of whether such Claims, or knowledge of the facts constituting such Claims, exist at the time of entry or arise at any time thereafter.

By participating in this Promotion, you agree that any dispute arising from or relating to this Promotion shall be determined by conﬁdential binding arbitration only in London, England, by and under the LCIA rules, and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Kraken may seek equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. If any provision of these rules is held to be illegal or unenforceable, such provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these rules otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable.

6. General Rules

Kraken reserves the right to modify these Rules in any way or at any time. Kraken reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Promotion should viruses, bugs or other causes beyond their control corrupt the administration, security or proper operation of the Participation. In the event of cancellation or suspension, Kraken shall promptly post a notice on its website to such effect. Failure to enforce any provision of these Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Kraken’s decisions will be ﬁnal in all matters relating to the Promotion. You waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Promotion or these Rules. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Rules will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for any reason, Kraken reserves the right, in our sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion and unilaterally select winners from eligible submissions received prior to cancellation, modiﬁcation, or suspension or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Kraken.

Promotion Period
From 6:00 PM CEST on August 20, 2025, to 9:00 PM CEST on August 20, 2025.

How to Participate
Attend the Kraken-hosted meetup in Poland on August 20, 2025, and participate in the official quiz conducted at the event. Each eligible participant may enter once. No purchase, payment, or trade is necessary to enter or win.

Determination of Winners
The Contest is based on skill. Participants will be evaluated on the number of correct answers submitted during the quiz. The five (5) highest-scoring participants will be declared winners. In the event of a tie, Kraken may use a time-based tie-breaker or other skill-based mechanism at its discretion.

Prizes
Each of the five (5) winners will receive: one (1) Kraken tote bag, one (1) Kraken notebook, and $15 USD in BTC (Approximate Retail Value: $30 USD). Prizes will be distributed to the winners’ Kraken consumer accounts within 30 days of confirmation of compliance with these Rules.
