GMT is the governance token for STEPN, a Web3-enabled "move to earn" fitness lifestyle app built on the Solana blockchain. By walking, jogging or running outdoors, STEPN users can earn the game’s other cryptocurrency, Green Satoshi Token (GST), which is used to buy, rent or level up their in-game sneakers from the game’s marketplace. GMT can be burned to increase players’ daily earning cap or increase their chances of being rewarded higher quality in-game items.
